Ive been reading Seventeen Magazine since I was 14, back then I just loved the clothes and funny embarassing stories. Through the years it's been a part of me growing up and learning about myself. A few months back I received an email from Seventeen saying that they were considering me for the Style Council. The fact that they even considered me meant the world to me, one thing I hated that I did was that I doubt it myself, I said there so many good blogs out there with more followers and views than mine so I tucked in the back of my mind. A couple weeks later I received the email saying that they had chosen me to be a part of the group! I'm saying all this to say don't doubt or belittle yourself, when planning your goals aim high and never settle for anything lower, if you reach your goal set a new one, set a higher one. Don't try to be the second, or third somebody, be the first you and do what makes you happy. these are the words from the heart of a girl who was bullied for being different and thinking outside of the box until one day she said I don't care if you don't like it, I don't want to be like y'all, this makes me happy. Don't hold back from being yourself!
